Consumer Adoption of Proximity Mobile Payment: An Empirical Cross-cultural Study

چکیده

The use of Proximity Mobile Payment (PMP) applications with several advantages over traditional payment methods is becoming more common. While a large diffusion PMP already apparent in South Korea, Germany still lagging behind. study examines the acceptance factors regarding intention to mentioned countries understand this divergence. A research model was developed explain behavioral intention, an extensive literature analysis. An online survey conducted, 186 Germans and 146 Koreans participated research. Results show that both perceived usefulness, risk, compatibility, personal innovativeness are determine individuals’ PMP. In addition, social influence has impact on only Germany, while ease trust had no countries.
